Hello everyone. I’d like to share the Forever Aloe Muffin recipe from our Forever friends in Benelux. It’s a simple holiday treat to warm you up in the chilly winter months and if you live where the weather is warm, you can still enjoy it with a cold drink. The ingredients here make about 2 dozens of muffins. You can click here to buy the other products from our online store.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup of Aloe Berry Nectar (#034) OR
Forever Bits n’ Peaches (#078)
1 3/4 stick (1 stick + 6 tablespoons) butter
3/4 cup of Forever Bee Honey (#207)
1/2 cup of chopped hazelnut
1 teabag of Aloe Blossom Herbal Tea (#049)
2 Eggs
1 1/2 tsp of Baking Powder
1/4 cup of sweetened Condensed milk
1 pinch of salt
1/2 cup of Aloe Berry Nectar OR
Forever Bits n’ Peaches
1/4 cup of Forever Bee Honey
1/2 cup of powdered sugar.
Preparation:
Pre-heat oven to 350ºF. Combine flour and baking powder; add salt. Heat butter with 3/4 cup Forever Bee Honey until it starts to bubble; reduce heat. Add 3/4 cup of Aloe Berry Nectar or Bits n’Peaches, eggs, sweetened condensed milk and the contents of one teabag of Aloe Blossoms Herbal Tea. Add flour mixture to the butter mixture. Mix in the hazelnuts and scoop mixture into paper muffin cups, about 2/3 full. Bake muffins for about 15 – 20 minutes at 350ºF. Allow to cool while mixing the sauce for the topping.
For the topping, heat the powdered sugar in a sauce pan – don’t cook it – then stir in 1/2 cup of Aloe Berry Nectar or Bits n’Peaches, and 1/4 cup of Forever Bee Honey. Stir thoroughly. Drizzle sauce over the cooled muffins and enjoy!
